Tapia Center Algorithms and Energy 2026 Camps held at Rice University

The 2026 Tapia Center Algorithms and Energy Camps at Rice University took place recently, and we’re reflecting on the incredible impact this program has had on the next generation of STEM leaders. Over the three weeks of camps, rising 8th–12th graders participated in hands-on projects, field trips, and interactive activities – developing new skills, exploring real-world applications, and gaining valuable insights into future career opportunities.

During the camps, ExxonMobil was proud to provide 135 summer camp scholarships to help local students experience STEM learning, build confidence, and create memories that can shape their future. We share a special recognition to the Tapia Center and Rice University for all the work involved in offering opportunities like these.
