2025 Carbon STEM Summer Camps at Rice University

This summer, more than 450 high school students and 30 educators participated in one of four-week long Tapia Center Carbon STEM Camps at Rice University. This marks over eight years of collaboration between ExxonMobil and the Tapia Center to implement these summer programs. -
ExxonMobil brings the Tapia Center Carbon Capture Program to Tennessee State University

Over the summer, 20 engineering students from across the U.S. attended the AMIE camp hosted by Tennessee State University (TSU) where they learned about carbon capture and storage (CCS) and became Carbon Project Ambassadors. -
ExxonMobil supports the 2025 STEM Energy Professional Development Program at SOWELA Technical Community College

In collaboration with ExxonMobil and the Allen Parish School Board, SOWELA Technical Community College received $100,000 from Future Use of Energy in Louisiana (FUEL) to support professional development training for rural Southwest Louisiana school districts and STEM programming.

This important training tool complements our existing robust offering of training opportunities provided at no cost to fire departments and emergency response organizations across our operating footprint. -

ExxonMobil has entered into the largest-of-its-kind commercial agreement with CF industries, a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products, to capture and permanently store up to 2 million metric tons of CO2 emissions annually from its manufacturing complex in Louisiana.
