ExxonMobil sponsors Carbon CCS STEM Professional Development session for Louisiana educators
We recently partnered with Louisiana State University, Ascension Parish Schools and the Tapia Center to deliver a Carbon CCS STEM professional development workshop to 25 educators. Funded by ExxonMobil, middle and high school teachers from a wide range of disciplines explored carbon capture and storage, including hands-on learning with the Tapia Carbon Project.
Each participant received a complimentary Tapia Carbon Project classroom kit, allowing them to bring model reservoir building directly to their students. Thank you to the educators who participated, LSU Petroleum Engineering Research and Technology Transfer (PERTT) Laboratory for hosting and the Tapia Center for equipping teachers to lead these lessons.
