STEM Professional Development Program held at Rice University for teachers
The Tapia Center’s Professional Development Program at Rice University recently brought together over 40 teachers to explore curriculum resources, participate in hands-on STEM activities, and gain practical tools they can take back to their classrooms.
Supported by ExxonMobil, this initiative equips teachers with advanced resources and innovative approaches to STEM education, creating meaningful learning opportunities for students. ExxonMobil representatives attended and shared their expertise with participants throughout the program.
At the conclusion of the session, educators presented projects they worked on throughout the week, with ExxonMobil employees attending to watch and interact with teachers during this showcase.
